Tina’s compassionate and caring nature led her to become an RMT.
She is a strong supporter of promoting patient-centered care, and encourages her clients to be at the forefront of their recovery.
Tina provides a safe and effective treatment by integrating researched based techniques to promote health and function. In the application of manual therapy, she will consider health history, bio-psychosocial factors, and both nervous and muscle systems; then apply appropriate techniques and pressure with the intention of reducing overall or specific pain and tension.
Modalities incorporated during a treatment may include: DNM, myofascial techniques, hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, and active and passive techniques. She also provides self-care recommendations such as stretching, strengthening and movement therapy.
She has a special interest in; chronic pain conditions, sports related injuries, neck and tmj conditions, headaches, scar tissue release and pre/post-natal care.
Her goal is to provide a comforting and supportive atmosphere in order to facilitate the healing of each unique individual.
Tina finds balance through spending time with friends, family, sports, travelling and helping others.
